Château de Versailles

A unique palace just a few minutes from Paris, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It was built by order of king Louis XIV, the “Sun King”, and was the last residence of the French monarchs. Inside the Hall of Mirrors of this palace is where the peace treaty of the First World War was signed. It is a magnificent palace and one of the most famous ones in the world.

Originally conceived to hold the relics of the Passion of Christ, the Sainte Chapelle is one of the most famous Gothic cathedrals in the whole world.
